The #1 Mistake That’s Delaying Your Healing (And No One Talks About It)
What I’ve observed clinically over the last 11 years is this:
The more importance you place on the pain going away immediately, the longer it often takes to heal—because you're stuck in resistance.
And as the old saying goes, what you resist, persists.
This isn’t just a catchy quote.
It’s a Universal principle.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
The Pitfall of Pushing Too Hard
When you push hard for health out of desperation—clenching, striving, grasping—Life pushes back.
And ironically, the harder you push, the more stressed and depleted you become, which only increases symptoms and slows down healing.
Healing doesn’t come from force.
It comes from flow.
Shifting to Trust and Releasing Energy
If you can shift into trust—truly trust that your body is on your side, that it’s working for you even in discomfort—you free up massive energy reserves that were once trapped in mental stress and resistance.
You’re still taking action.
You’re still removing interference.
But now your nervous system isn’t running uphill anymore.
It’s finally in sync with Nature.
The moment you stop making pain the enemy is the moment you begin to heal faster.
The Cycle of Resistance and Depletion
Here’s the pattern I’ve seen play out:
- The bigger deal you make of something, the more
importance it holds.
- The more importance it holds, the more
energy you give it.
- The more energy you give it, the more Universal forces
push back.
- That resistance depletes your reserves.
- Depletion leads to breakdown—physically, mentally, emotionally.
I’d reread that paragraph a few times.
It’s a map of what keeps people stuck in chronic patterns.
The Path to Accelerated Healing
If you want to heal quickly, stop resisting what is.
Trust that your body is doing exactly what it’s supposed to—even if it hurts.
Align with Nature.
Support your nervous system.
Focus on what’s going right.
And most importantly, release the need for immediate relief.
Because ironically, that’s when healing speeds up.
